I love in-home newborn photo sessions because people are most genuine and vulnerable in their homes, which for me means capturing authentic connection.

With all my newborn in-home sessions, I send out a home prep email upon booking so the family can prepare their home for the session before the baby arrives.

But honestly, it’s up to the parents how much or little they want to do. My goal is to document their family at that moment, which can be cluttered chaos or a tidy home. I don’t care because it’s not about the space it’s about the people.

Kids running around being crazy and parents embracing that makes for the best images. Just be yourself and enjoy the beautiful family that you created.
